I am talking about the fifth annual family history expo that is held each February in St. George at the Dixie Center.  If you register before Valentine’s Day, you can still receive the early registration discount.  $60.00 will provide you with two full days of instruction from some of the leading experts in the field of genealogy.  You could even just visit the free exhibit hall and see the fun things they have for display with exhibitors coming from as far away as England and Hawaii.

This year’s conference is called Digging Roots: It’s that easy!  The conference consists of many one hour classes each hour to choose from.  It begins at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, February 27, 2009 and continues until Saturday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. concluding with a grand prize drawing in the exhibit hall.

A new feature this year is an online syllabus, so you can study the materials before you attend the class, and find out which ones you really want to attend.  Login to www.fhexpos.com, click on the 2009 St. George Expo and then under the Schedule, you will see a syllabus column to click and view the syllabus.  Those are available right after you have registered for the event.
