Senior Week Updates

Issue 42.11

Less than3 weeks to the start of Senior Week I hope you are looking forward to coming and joining us. Programs will be printed this week and inserted into the Senior Sampler next week, so don’t forget to pick up your copy so you can see which days you would like to come to the daily activities we have arranged for you taking place at the Washington Community Center Monday November 7th – 12th and don’t forget if you pre-book your tickets online or at the Senior Sampler office for Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday of that week you will receive a free lunch,  if you buy at the door tickets will not include lunch.  If you get a ticket for Monday and come to the Opening you will also get a free pancake breakfast.
You can buy tickets for a certain day which cover you for everything Senior Week has happening at the Center that day and also includes a day pass for all the amenities that the Rec. Center has to offer or buy a ticket for the whole week, that gets you into everything taking place at the Washington Community Center that week.
So please when you get your program check out all the activities we have for you and pre-book your tickets if you can, as this helps us to plan on how many people to get ready for and all the money raised from your tickets will go to help our local Veterans new Nursing Home.
Many people have freely given of their time to come and give classes and entertain you in order to help the veterans and do something for you so I hope you will come and take advantage of this week that is being put on especially for you the Senior Sampler readers.
We have made 2 changes to what I have already announced in the past and they are to the Gala Ball and the Country night and BBQ. The Gala Ball will only be a Ball with dancing to the Mick Jones Band and not include a dinner, this way tickets can be sold right up until the event and even at the door, tickets are now $25. For the Country Night and BBQ you must pre- book tickets if you wish to have the BBQ or you can buy tickets just for the dance which can be pre-booked or bought at the door. The cost with the BBQ is $15 and the dance only $10.
The Car and Bike show on the Saturday is going to be a great event, and children 15 and under are free to the Car Show and also the Expo, Craft Fair and activities taking place inside the Community Center that day. Adult tickets to just the car show are $3 and to the events in the Center and the Car show $6.
Tickets Friday and Saturday to the events inside the Center only, $5.00
Tickets for all our events except the 2 shows at the Cox Theater can be purchased from the Senior Sampler office 581 E. 100 S. St. George or from our website www.seniorsampler.com  and then click on Senior Week.
We hope you will all come and support this great cause and enjoy all the fun activities we have arranged for you.
