Dear Ben: I want my kitchen cabinets white, what do you think about white cabinets?

DEAR GREAT CHOICE : If you are paying attention to kitchen cabinetry painted is where it’s at-more specifically white painted cabinets.  With 17 years experience in the cabinetry industry I can tell you white is always a great choice.   It’s the one color I have seen consistently used over the years, with a definite bump in popularity over the previous year.  Here’s why:

White cabinetry is timeless, and works with all styles, country, traditional, modern, and contemporary.  White cabinets add an instant fresh, clean, bright and open feel to any kitchen.

You may be worried an all-white kitchen means blah, no personality, no style, or no design.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.

White cabinets open the possibility to add accent colors on walls, place custom pieces of furniture around them or even add an accent colored island to compliment the white.  Add color to your white kitchen through accessories and wall art.   All of these are more easily changed than cabinetry by a new owner or your own changes in style and taste overtime.  White is hot! But also remains a good, safe consistent design choice.   Thanks for the great question!
