A webinar is a live online educational presentation during which participating viewers can submit questions and comments. One of the free training options that RootsMagic provides is their free online classes or webinars. All of their webinars are free and you can watch them anytime, day or night. You just go to that page, select the one you want and start watching.
One issue with RootsMagic’s webinars is that they are between 60 and 90 minutes long, and sometimes you are only interested in one part of the webinar. In the past you had to start up the webinar and scan through or watch the entire thing just to find the part you were interested in. To solve that problem, RootsMagic put up PDF indexes for all of their webinars so that you can search the index to find which point in which webinar you are interested in watching. You can then start the webinar and jump to that time in the webinar to watch just the part you are interested in. Or, you can go back and review a part or take a break and get right back to where you were later.
RootsMagic is trying to come up with webinars for every user, whether you are a beginner just getting started, or a power user looking for more tips on RootsMagic tools. To see the indexes and the list of webinars, on the Internet visit http://www.rootsmagic.com/webinars.
At the time of this writing they had just over 50 webinars to watch. This will keep you busy for weeks!
