Springtime At BeeHive Cottages!

Issue 16.11

After an unusually long winter, we are eagerly welcoming Spring and all the wonders that this time of year brings.  April is a very bright & colorful month full of natural beauty at the BeeHive Cottages!  Almost overnight our community has become alive again – the trees are starting to bud, the rose bushes & flowers are starting to bloom, and the birds are beginning to sing again.  Some of the other welcome signs of Spring include the days getting longer, the sun shining brighter, and the scent of fresh cut grass filling the air!

Everyone is catching Spring Fever here at the Cottages!  While the weather is heating up, so is our Activities Department.  One of our favorite Springtime activities is our Easter Egg-travaganza with children from the Learning Tree joining us for a very “Hopping Day” of activities including an Easter Egg Hunt.  Another favorite spring pastime here is our weekly Sight Seeing Adventures — who knows where we will end up.  These trips are great for those eager to explore new places, and also those just looking to take a ride in the country & enjoy the ever-changing scenery.   Our April Activities calendar is overflowing with a variety of exciting opportunities ranging from live entertainment and local theater productions — to concerts at the Tabernacle.

Our Chefs are also enthusiastically welcoming Spring!  They have been firing up the barbeques in preparation for our new menus.  Seasonal favorites will be combined with a steady stream of fruits and vegetables, along with our festive desserts that will transition any springtime gathering into a special occasion.  As Mother Nature wakes up, so do our cravings!

At BeeHive Cottages — our beautiful community and our refreshing, extensive range of services are only surpassed by our warm and caring staff.  If you are one of the few that has yet to visit us, I invite you to come discover what we have to offer.  We take the work & worry out of you day so that you can take time to smell the roses!
