Senior Week November 7th- 12th

Issue 28.11

The Senior Week competitions and day events will all take place at the Washington Community Center. Each day there will be different competitions taking place for you to take part in or to watch and many different activities and classes for you to join in, and some days lunch is included, also your week ticket or day ticket will include a free pass to join in the things provided by the Washington Community Center e.g. lap pool, fun pool, aerobic classes, gym, exercise equipment and classes; all this for only $7.50 a day for a pre-paid ticket and even less per day for a pre-paid full week ticket.

For those people taking part in the competitions you will also get a free day pass for the day of your competition so you can join in things happening before or after your event.

Included on the page is an entry form for the competitions, if you would like to take part in any of them please fill out the form and mail the form and your check to the Senior Sampler Office
581 E. 100 S. St George, UT. 84770. We have had a few entries back for the talent contest, and please note if you are a group wanting to take part in the talent contest you only need to pay one sign up fee for the group plus an event fee for each individual.
We haven’t received many competition forms back yet so I hope this means you are just delaying sending them in, not that there isn’t much interest. I know the Snowbirds aren’t here and many of them may wish to enter when they get back but I thought many of our local seniors would like to take part, as I said before these competitions are not as serious as the Huntsman Senior games, they are more for fun and for everybody over the age of 50 years.

Our tickets for the day events and for the evening events will go on sale at the beginning of September.
All the articles I write with information about Senior Week can be read on the Senior Sampler web site www.seniorsampler.com, so if you have missed any just click on my name Barbara Leadenham under the Columns heading.
