We are often asked by patients suffering from bad fitting dentures, “Should I get permanent or snap-on implant teeth?” We specialize in helping clients sort through the options to ensure they get everything they need and want from their new smile.
Normal removable dentures are better than nothing at all, but they can move a lot which can make chewing a meal very time consuming. When as few as two small dental implants are properly positioned in the mouth and attached to a denture there is always a big jump in wearer satisfaction. These snap-on implant teeth are a good solution for those that would prefer to remove their dentures for cleaning. You can’t beat the value for the dollar of this solution either—sometimes even the current denture can be utilized.
Upgrading with at least two additional small dental implants can be done at the same time as the first two, or later if proper planning is performed. With at least four small dental implants, we can create permanent teeth that do not come out and that restore chewing ability back to 100%. This option is good for those that desire a solution that has zero movement, is less bulky, and is brushed directly in the mouth—just like natural teeth. As amazing as it sounds, this option can sometimes be performed all in a single day. This means that someone with a mouth full of diseased teeth or poor fitting dentures can have permanent new teeth that don’t move, completely restoring chewing ability back to 100% all in a single day.
