Recycling Cabinets

Issue 3.14

Can you recycle cabinets?  Absolutely!  By definition, Recycle: to treat or process so as to make suitable for use.

Here are some of the reasons and benefits to recycling your cabinets with our company N-hance.

1. Dingy, Worn, Flakey Finish: You may love your cabinets and color but wood finish doesn’t last forever.  Especially where exposed to water.  Most notably sink doors and bathroom vanities.  These areas take the most abuse, finish flakes off, then color wears out.  I am amazed how many appointments I go to where customers feel they need a new kitchen or bathroom because sink doors.  With a Renewal, these are easily fixed and restored.  Add a new coat of finish and you are back in business within the day.

2. Styles Change:  A new color looks…well, new!  This is a more involved process .  I  have literally thousands of color options.  Let your imagination go.  Options include wood tones, painted and distressed looks.  For example, in your kitchen we can make one part of your room a dark wood stain and paint your island an accent color.  You don’t have to limit yourself to the same color throughout your house.  Bathrooms, basements, offices, can be different.  Change it up.

3. Quick:  An average Kitchen Color Change takes 4 days to complete.  A cabinet color Renewal averages 1 day.

4. Convenient: You don’t have to go without your Kitchen.  You can cook dinner in your Kitchen every night.

5. No need to remodel:  No need to replace flooring, walls, countertops, appliances and all the things associated with new cabinets.

6. Cost: Going green is going to save some green.  An N-Hance cabinet color change averages 33% the cost of new cabinets.  A renewal averages 15%.

7. Clean:  No Dust. No Odor. No Mess.  We use water based products.  No sanding and no harsh chemicals make the color change and renewal process with N-Hance clean and odor free.  Traditional re-finishing can keep you out of your house for days because of the smell, dust from sanding, and unhealthy vapors.

8. Opportunity to Dress it up.

9. Cabinet Hardware: Often older cabinets don’t have hardware on them.  If they do, they’re generally outdated, broken, and worn.  New knobs and/or handles are a great way to update or change the look of your cabinets.

10. Mouldings: New mouldings like Crown or Under Cabinet Light Rail add a nice touch.

11. Hinges: Do you have any hinges that just don’t work anymore, sag, or won’t stay on the cabinet?  New hinges will make your cabinets function like they are supposed to.
