Genealogy Corner… March Around The World Event

The St. George FamilySearch Library, located on the 2nd floor of building B at 162 North 400 East in St. George, Utah is holding a special March Event. Two weeks of classes and indexing will be devoted to Foreign and Native American Research. The event will be held March 14th through March 25th.

The FamilySearch Library invites you to join their daily classes devoted to foreign countries and Native American Research. The event is free and everyone is welcome. The following are the focus countries and dates:

British Isles Research: March 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24.

Danish Research: March 15, 17, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25.

Dutch Research: March 15, 16, 22, 23.

German Research: March 14, 17, 21 25.

Hispanic Research: March 14, 17, 18, 21, 24, 25.

Irish Research: March 14, 16, 21, 23.

Italian Research: March 18, 24, 25.

Native American Research: March 16, 23.

Pacific Islands Research: March 14, 16, 21, 23.

Polish Research: March 18

Swiss Research: March 15, 22.

Ukrainian Research: March 14, 15, 21, 22.

The hours are Mondays and Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays 9:00 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. Specific times for the formal classes can be found at http://www.genealogynow.org/blog/march-around-the-world-in-march

You will receive help from experts in the specific areas and languages. This is a great opportunity to learn more about FamilySearch Indexing in these languages as well. Come and say hello Monday March 21 in the morning when I will be there.
