The 2017 Family Roots Expo will be on Friday, September 15th and Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at the Dixie Convention Center in St. George, Utah. You can come and visit booths, attend classes, and take advantage of the conference specials. To register, go to: https://www.myfamilyhistoryrocks.com
Justin and Merrill Osmond will be the Friday keynote speakers at 9:00 a.m. with a presentation titled Engaging Your Family in Fun Family Traditions. The Friday class sessions will run from 10:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. You can choose from over 40 class offerings each day. Friday night’s concert is Chris Petersen with a Salute to Veterans at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15. Friday’s afternoon keynote at 3:15 p.m. will be Glenn Rawson on The Power of the Sacred Family History. There is also an optional Friday luncheon keynote at 11:30 a.m. with Dallin A. Larsen, founder, and CEO of Vasayo. Tickets for that are $18.
Saturday’s keynote speaker will by John Bytheway, beginning at 10:15 a.m. with The Funnies of Family History. Saturday’s class sessions begin at 9:00 a.m. and go until 4:00 p.m. Saturday night’s concert will be provided by Gentri at 7:00 p.m. The tickets for the concert are $25 and there is limited seating. You do not have to attend the expo to purchase concert tickets. Saturday’s afternoon keynote speakers will be the Eyre Family. Richard and Linda Eyre will speak on the Power of Family.
Youth are invited to come enjoy a free youth event at the Family Roots Expo. Games, prizes, entertainment, and family history all rolled into one amazing day. John Bytheway is the keynote speaker for this part of the event. Boy Scouts may also register to attend a class to earn their Genealogy Merit Badge at the event.
